The 1424 Series Disintegrators (Models 1424 and 1424/5) have been evaluated by NSA for Paper Disintegrators, CDs, and Key Tape. These extra heavy duty, high volume disintegrators can easily destroy bound manuals and printouts from 4″ to 6″ thick. These systems are very popular with large military bases and data processing centers. Available with horsepowers ranging from 40-100 HP, these systems are NSA rated at up to 1,200 lbs per hour with high secuirty 3/32″ sizing screens and in excess of 2,400 lbs per hour with larger sizing screens. Because the application and destruction requirements for these products vary so greatly and due to the wide range of available options and accessories, we only provide very basic specifications on this unit. These systems are fully customizable with added features such as sound enclosures, conveyors, metal detectors to protect and prolong blade life, VFDs to enhance user experience while reducing energy consumption, and touch screen interfaces for ultimate operator ease of use.
