SEM coined the term disintegrator over 50 years ago, and since that time, our paper disintegrators have become the standard for all US Embassies, Federal Reserve Banks, and even the US Postal Service. Today, we have more units in use than any other company worldwide. SEM disintegrators use rotary knife mill technology to destroy virtually any bulk material.
When used with the proper waste sizing screen, all SEM paper disintegrators meet NSA/CSS specifications and are on the NSA/CSS EPL for the destruction of paper, CDs, and key tape.
